Minister Dharamveer Prajapati asked the prisoners to take a pledge this Diwali that they would atone for whatever happened knowingly or unknowingly and would not repeat the mistake again in life due to which they would have to come to jail.

Parents feel the most pain when they are in jail

When the Prisons Minister, who came to inspect the jail, saw about 50 percent number of young prisoners there, he expressed concern. After this, he explained to the young prisoners that when they are in jail, the parents and family members suffer the most. Therefore, whenever you come out of the prison, do not do any such work again that you have to come back to the jail and the parents will have to be sad.

The way Prisons Minister Dharamvir Prajapati explained to the prisoners, some of the prisoners got moist in their eyes and they started crying. A young prisoner hugged the minister and vowed that after his release from prison, he would not do any such work again in life which would result in coming to jail.

Better arrangements should be made on Bhaiya Dooj

During the inspection, the Jail Minister instructed the jail administration to make better arrangements on the day of Bhai Dooj. The minister asked the jail superintendent to meet the sisters who come to perform tilak of the prisoners detained in the jail on the day of Bhai Dooj. Along with this, special arrangements should be made for their seating and refreshments.
