Descending the tents put up by Congressmen in front of the Vigilance Office.

In support of former Punjab cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu arrested in the transportation tender scam, the Punjab Police has started uprooting the tent erected by Congressmen in the city council park.

Let us inform that during the appearance of Ashu in the court today, Vigilance officials told the judge that the Congressmen have set up tents in front of the Vigilance office, due to which our investigation is being affected.

Vigilance officers, while presenting their stand in the court, said that whenever a complainant starts coming to the vigilance office, the supporters of Ashu try to create a bad atmosphere due to which their investigation is getting disturbed.

It is being told that only after the matter was raised by the Vigilance in the court, District Police Kumbhakarni woke up from sleep and the tents were being removed.

With the removal of the tent, while the crowd around the Vigilance office will be reduced, any person whom the Vigilance has to inquire will be able to come to the Vigilance office without any fear. He was again produced in court on Saturday.

Vigilance had sought 7 days remand of Ashu from the court but the court has given Ashu’s remand for 2 days to Vigilance. A large number of police forces are reaching to get the tents removed.
