Action is going on by the district police against drug addicts and people who do not wear helmets. SP Prashant Khare said that during the last 24 hours, challans of 143 bike drivers have been deducted in the district. Along with this, while issuing the order, the SP has also instructed the police staff to wear helmets and drive two wheelers.

In fact, keeping in mind the increasing road accidents, the High Court Jabalpur has issued instructions to bike drivers to install helmets. A campaign is being run by the police administration to ensure strict compliance of the order. People are being made aware in this regard at schools, colleges, petrol pumps. Along with this, challan action is also being taken against those who do not follow the rules.

SP Sitaram Sasatya said that during the last 24 hours in the district, the traffic of 143 two-wheelers in the police station, Kotwali, Dehat, Baragaon, Budera, Baldevgarh, Kudila, Khargapur, Jatara, Palera, Bamorikalan, Digoda, Lidhaura, Chandera, Mohangarh police station. Not wearing helmet. 35750 summon fee was collected from them. He said that the campaign would continue across the district till October 20.

Campaign against drug addiction continues
The police campaign against drugs is also continuing in the police stations across the district. SP Prashant Khare said that on Sunday, 14 cases have been registered by the police station across the district for the sale of illicit liquor and narcotics. During this, the police station across the district has seized about 150 liters of illicit liquor.
