PGI at Chandigarh Sector 12

The region’s largest health institute PGI is becoming completely patient-friendly. Various types of facilities are being provided to the patients so that they do not have to travel many times to PGI from far-flung areas. Now patients will be able to download the lab test report of PGI in their mobile phones. You will be able to view the reports of PGI’s Biochemistry, Biophysics, Endocrinology, Parasitology and Virology Labs through the web portal on mobile. For this, OTP will have to be generated by entering the code.

At the same time, you will also be able to see the schedule of OPDs of various departments. Along with this, you will also be able to use the pre-registration facility on the official website of PGI. This new feature has been added for patients. The website has been made more patient-friendly.

Now the patient can see the name of the consultant, days of OPD and its location by selecting the respective department and category of the PGI. The patient can now get his OPD booking done by himself without any help. This will save the time of the patients and there will be no need to stand in queues for hours. While availing the pre-registration facility, the patient will have to collect the registration number from a separate online registration counter between 8 am to 11 am. Advance OPD registration can be done up to 30 days.

On the other hand, PGI has also started an appointment facility for special clinic patients in the Department of Plastic Surgery. Patients will have to visit the respective registration counter 15 minutes before the appointment time. On the other hand, if the patient is not able to avail the facility of pre-registration after the slot is filled on the date of choice, then he/she can come to the PGI for registration at the respective OPD registration counter.

Let us inform that in PGI, patients come for treatment from states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana including Chandigarh. Every day thousands of patients reach OPD. In such a situation, these facilities have been started so that patients do not face any problem in test report and OPD registration.
