In which members associated with PFI from other states including UP have been sent.

The agencies of the country were working for a long time to get to the bottom of the organization of the notorious extremist organization PFI. It has been learned from the arrested members that it was the intention of the PFI to create a threat to the internal security of the country. Weapons training given in Kerala
The activities of PFI were interrogated by various investigating agencies and its cadre in various cases. Due to which the agencies have come to know that there was a conspiracy to intimidate PFI opponents in many states of the country including UP. PFI selected its members in a rigorous selection process based on the criteria of youth’s Islamic values, loyalty to the organisation, health and anti-national forces. Arms training was also given to the members secretly by PFI.

STF had arrested four members of PFI.

An official probing the kill squad case in UP said, “Many youths who joined PFI were put in a tense schedule in the last few years. Then they were inducted into the kill squad.

Among them, Mohammad Shadab Azim Qasmi, West UP President of All India Imam Council was arrested from Shamli. Former district president of PFI Meerut Shahzad was also arrested on 23 September. Shahzad has done violence in many cities of UP on 20 December 2019.

Foundation Day on 17th February
PFI celebrates its foundation day on 17 February. For this, its members are included in different places secretly. 25 to 50 such trainers were being prepared in each state. To provide weapons training to the members of PFI for any situation. Fake documents, anti-national material, anti-Hinduism books have also been recovered from them.

Arms and explosives were recovered from the PFI training camp in Kannur, Kerala in 2013. Swords, wooden sticks, human effigies, foreign currency, mobiles and PFI pamphlets were seized from the training camp. On September 23, ATS recovered books and other material from the four arrested PFI members. The investigating agency is currently looking for the trainees.
