The district administration and police department have geared up for the PET examination 2022 to be held on October 15 and 16. The DM has appealed to the people of the district to leave for the market after 6 pm if it is not necessary. He also clarified that he is not enforcing the ban but appealing for the convenience. Heavy vehicles will be restricted from 6 am to 8 am in which roadways will run. Duty of 10 sector magistrates and 35 static magistrates have been imposed in the examination, while one sector magistrate and 8 static magistrates have been kept in the reserve.

Magistrate’s meeting

District Magistrate Prakash Chandra Srivastava and Superintendent of Police Charu Nigam held a meeting with Sector Magistrate and Static Magistrate regarding PET examination 2022 in Collectorate Auditorium. During the meeting, the said two officers directed the Sector and Static Magistrates posted in the examination to study the manual related to the guidelines thoroughly and follow it in letter and spirit. He directed all the magistrates to ensure that all reach the duty place on time and all sector magistrates should carry out the duty in coordination with the security force.

Instructions to take stock of examination centers

The District Magistrate directed all the Sector Magistrates to visit the examination centers and check all the necessary arrangements, if necessary, they should be made aware and during the examination, they should carry out the duty by being constantly traveling. He instructed the Static Magistrates to discharge their duties with full responsibility and if required, contact the control room at Kakor Headquarters on the telephone number 05684-249660 and the control room maintained by the Commission Headquarters at Kanpur Divisional telephone number 7303128811. . He directed the concerned executive officers of the municipality to ensure cleanliness and arrangement of drinking water. He said that after the examination, sealed boxes should be deposited at the designated place with security.

He said that arrangements for auto rickshaws etc. should also be made for the candidates coming from outside, to be received from bus station, railway station, mandi and parking of vehicles etc. He said that educational institutions, coaching, cyber cafes, photostat machine shops etc. will remain closed during the examination and the computer rooms of the examination centers will be completely closed.

The Superintendent of Police, while directing the traffic police personnel posted at all the intersections, said that under no circumstances, the situation of jam should not arise at the intersections, as well as the entry of heavy vehicles should be banned from 6 am to 8 pm on both the days. He told that the roadways bus should be allowed to travel, so that the candidates appearing in the examination do not face any problem. After the meeting, the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police visited the examination centers and saw all the arrangements and marked the place for parking of vehicles etc. In the meeting, Additional District Magistrate (V/R) Mahendra Pal Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Abdul Basit, Additional Superintendent of Police Shishyapal Singh along with concerned officers etc. were present.
