On Friday, some anti-social elements tried to sabotage the peace in Moradabad. But due to the promptness of the police, the atmosphere was handled before it got worse.
The case pertains to the Chamunda temple located in the Nawabpura saini colony in the Nagfani police station area of Moradabad. The local people were enraged to see the bones and pieces of meat lying in the temple. The police immediately reached the spot and registered an FIR against the two accused.

SP City Akhilesh Bhadauria said that the local residents had complained about something objectionable being thrown in the temple. Police is registering a case against two people on the basis of their Tahrir. SP City told that, there was an engagement program in a house just adjacent to the temple. It is a matter of investigation whether objectionable things were deliberately thrown in the temple or something fell unintentionally. The police is investigating this in depth.

Angry women gathered at the temple
On the information that bones and pieces of meat were lying in the temple, a crowd of women living in the saini settlement gathered at the temple. The women created a ruckus demanding action against the accused. Meanwhile, Prem Shankar, who gave a complaint in the matter, said,
“We had seen such things lying in the temple a few times before. But at that time no complaint was made to the police thinking that someone might have fallen by mistake. But again on Friday, when we saw bones and flesh lying there, I asked the neighbor. Complained. Me and the people of the locality have full suspicion on the two boys of Badlu Pehalwan living in the neighborhood. Because engagement party was going on at their house. These things have been thrown from their house in the temple. We asked Badlu’s sons. A report has been written against Lalla and Aslam.”
