Pensioners Association meeting: Government should order payment of remaining installments of DA before Diwali

On Friday, a meeting of the local pensioners association was held in the auditorium at Ramlila Maidan. It was presided over by retired Sub Inspector Amar Singh Sengar. In the meeting, among the burning demands of the pensioners, the MP government expressed concern over the non-payment of DA installments at par with the Centre. At present, the pensioners of MP are getting 28 percent DA while 38 percent has been given by the Centre. Branch President KL Verma reiterated the demand to provide relief to the pensioner’s family by announcing the remaining 10 percent DA installments from the government before Diwali.

In the meeting, the pensioners also presented their personal problems, which resolved to be resolved within the time limit. Pensioner Jawahar Singh apprised the bank about the problem of missing his revised PPO. Pensioners Vishnu Prasad Sharma, Umrao Singh Ahirwar, Dr. Gopal Singh Raghuvanshi, Radheshyam Soni, Rajendra Dubey gave their views. During this, tribute was paid to the mother of late pensioner Gulab Rajore and pensioner Ramcharan Raghuvanshi by observing silence for two minutes. Treasurer Mohanlal Rai expressed vote of thanks.
