This photo is from May 2019, when Rahul Gandhi resigned from the post of Congress President. Sharad Pawar had met him at his home in Delhi and asked him to withdraw his resignation.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has termed the opposition’s demand for a JPC (Joint Parliamentary Committee) in the Adani-Hindenburg case as useless. In an interview given to NDTV, Pawar said – The ruling party has majority in JPC. The truth does not come out from that. The Supreme Court committee is the right option to investigate this matter.

On the other hand, the Congress distanced itself from Sharad Pawar’s statement. Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh said, “These may be their own views, but 19 parties are unanimous that the issue of Adani Group linked to PM Modi is very serious.”

Jairam said – We are united to defeat BJP

This picture is of March 27, when a meeting of opposition parties was held at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s house regarding the demand of JPC and strategy in Parliament.

Jairam Ramesh said- All 19 opposition parties are united. Congress is the biggest party among them. And we will stand together to save the constitution and democracy from the attacks of BJP. We will be together in defeating the divisive, destructive political, social and economic agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

7 big things of Sharad, said- earlier also had to speak against the government, then used to speak against Tata-Birla

  • Someone made a statement and there was an uproar in the country. Such statements have been made in the past as well, which created a ruckus, but the importance given to this issue was excessive. There was a need to think who raised the issue.
  • We did not hear the name of the person making the statement. Background not seen, what is it? When such issues arise, they create ruckus in the country, for which the price has to be paid. How does it affect the economy? We cannot ignore such things, and it seems it was targeted.
  • Members of the ruling party will be in majority in the JPC. How will the truth come out? If the Supreme Court investigates the matter, the truth is more likely to come out. And once the Supreme Court announced the inquiry committee, there was no need for a JPC.

  • This has been happening in this country for many years. If we had to speak against the government, we used to speak against the Tatas-Birlas. But when we understood the contribution of Tata, then we used to wonder why we kept saying Tata-Birla.
  • The question is that the people you are targeting, if they have done something wrong then in a democracy you have 100% right to speak against them, but to attack without any meaning, I do not understand.
  • Ambani has contributed in the petrochemical sector and Adani in the power sector. Does the country not need these electricity or petrochemicals? These are the people who take such responsibility and work for the name of the country.
  • It is okay if there is a conflict in the Parliament. The session will not run on that day, but it is everyone’s responsibility to run the House the next day. Whether you sit in the evening or the next day, there should be an effort to find a solution. But both the opposition and the government did not try. This process of dialogue is not seen these days.

Shah said in UP – Rahul sacrificed the time of Parliament

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has blamed the entire opposition, including the Congress, for the deadlock in Parliament. In a public meeting in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh on Friday, he said – It has never happened in history that the Parliament session ended without discussion in the budget session.
