Surat court has convicted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case and sentenced him to 2 years imprisonment. Along with this, the court also imposed a fine of 15 thousand. After some time, the same court also granted him bail. Also, the sentence was postponed for 30 days.

Rahul Gandhi has made a tweet after coming out of the court after the verdict. In which he has written a line of Mahatma Gandhi. In which it is said that my religion is based on truth and non-violence.

Truth is my God, non-violence is the means to get it. Haryana’s Panipat Urban MLA Pramod Vij has taken a dig at Rahul’s tweet. In which he has asked Rahul to bake political breads using the surname of Mahatma Gandhi.

Rahul said after punishment – Truth is my God
My religion is based on truth and non-violence. Truth is my God, non-violence is the means to get it

Urban MLA Pramoj Vij said:
Mahatma Gandhi dedicated his life to truth and non-violence. It is unfortunate that by using whose surname you bake your political breads, you do not adopt even a mole of his ideas. Why don’t you remember Gandhi ji while spreading disharmony in the society with anti-national statements and telling lies?

Know what is the whole case of defamation
Before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, during a rally in Kolar, Karnataka, Rahul had said in his speech that the surname of thieves is Modi. Why do all thieves have the surname Modi, whether it is Lalit Modi or Nirav Modi or Narendra Modi. During the hearing of this case, Rahul Gandhi appeared in the court three times. During the last appearance of October 2021, he declared himself innocent.
