Who built the fort?
There is a different discussion about the fort of Palpur royal family inside Palpur Kuno National Park. Some say that the fort was won when Palpur was occupied by the royal family, but some historians say that Palpur Garhi was built by Raja Gopal Singh of Karauli in the early 18th century. It is surrounded by a high wall on all sides. In addition, the Kuno River serves as its natural defense wall. A temple and a court still exist inside the fort. There are two doors to go inside the fort, one of which is two-storeyed.

Now the royal family in the court, today the collector has to answer
Now the Palpur royal family has approached the court demanding compensation, maintenance of the fort and the temple, as well as the name of the National Park as Palpur Kuno. The matter is in the Vijaypur Sessions Court. Krishnaraj Singh Palpur, a descendant of Ragharana, told that the government had cheated him. The compensation for the people of 220 bighas land, fort, temple fortification, 24 villages and leaving from there has been done with only 45 bighas of land. Therefore, he is now in the shelter of the court. His ancestors had given this land for the protection of wildlife, but the conditions and promises that were made were not fulfilled. On 19 September, the hearing of this case was held in Vijaypur on Monday, in which advocate MM Parashar argued on behalf of the royal family. He has asked the government to present his side in this entire matter. The next hearing is on September 29, in which the collector has to present his side.
