In the case of raping and killing two Dalit girls in Lakhimpur Kheri, RLD leaders went to the DM office and protested against the state government.
In Muzaffarnagar, RLD leaders reached the DM office and expressed their displeasure over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. After the rape, RLD held the state government responsible for the killings of two Dalit girls. RLD leaders gave a memorandum to ADM F and said that the graph of atrocities on Dalits has increased under the Yogi Adityanath government.
Iqbal of Yogi government is decreasing in the state: Anil Kumar
On Friday, RLD leaders demonstrated after reaching the DM office. RLD leader and Purkaji area MLA Anil Kumar said that the Iqbal of the present state government is decreasing. He said that atrocities on Dalits are increasing continuously. He alleged that people of anti-Dalit mindset are getting a lot of encouragement in this government. Said that the government says that crime has come down, but the criminal incidents that happen every day proves that the Iqbal of this government has decreased. Incidents of child theft, robbery and dacoity and incidents like Lakhimpur Kheri have increased. He said that the increase in such incidents proves that the BJP government has failed to stop crime in the state. On this occasion, RLD district president Prabhat Tomar, former minister Dharamveer Balian, Manoj Sharma etc. were involved.
