Locals and police personnel take a woman injured in a road accident to a hospital in Azamgarh district.
A speeding pickup hit the bike rider hard in Atraulia police station area of Azamgarh district. The bike rider was injured in this collision. Uncontrolled pickup hit two real sisters going on the roadside. In this collision, one died on the spot while the other was seriously injured. The injured have been referred to the district hospital for treatment. The uncontrolled pickup did not stop even after this and after going some distance, hit a handcart and entered the house. The driver left the vehicle and fled.

Uncontrollable pickup took the life of sister
Ranjana Devi (60) and Atwari (54), residents of Ahirola in the district, are real sisters. Yogendra, a resident of Manwarpur village in Atrauliya, had gone to meet his son Durjan, who is Ranjana’s son-in-law. On Thursday, she had left for Ahirola at her house that as soon as Shanti had reached the chowk, an uncontrolled pickup bike rider coming from Ambedkar Nagar hit Ramesh Modanwal, at a distance of a few steps from him, hit both the sisters, due to which Atwari Year died on the spot. Ranjana was seriously injured in the collision of the pickup. As soon as the information of the accident was received, both were sent to the hospital with the help of local people, where doctors declared Atwari dead, while Ranjana’s condition was referred to the district hospital. At the same time, bike rider Ramesh Chandra is also undergoing treatment. The police has sent the body for post-mortem and the pickup has been brought to the police station.
