Detective Fall From Helicopter: A detective of the New York Police Department (NYPD) in Queens, USA, fell from a helicopter to the ground. Police officials said that on Thursday afternoon he fell 20 feet to the ground during training from a helicopter in Queens and suffered serious injuries. He was at the police academy for training with the Emergency Services Unit and the incident took place at around 12:15 pm. After this the injured was taken to the hospital.
Regarding the accident, the police officials said that the detective was conscious after the fall and fractured his leg. However, it is not clear how the spy went down. The officials also do not know whether the detective was tied with a rope or not.

A police source told the Daily News that either the rope was not tied properly or “the rope may have broken at the attachment point”.
