Formalities being completed
DM Visakh G Iyer has ordered to install road lights in all villages soon. He told that the officers have been sent to Kortha village. There the officers have been instructed to meet the victims and provide them all possible help. Benefit of all welfare schemes will be provided to the victims. The officers are completing the formalities for the assistance amount.

Compensation amount not yet received
The amount received from the PM Care Fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the victims has not yet been handed over. This amount was to be handed over earlier on Sunday itself in the presence of the CM. At the same time, the bank details of the victims have been taken in the village. Officials say that some formalities are yet to be completed, after that the victims will be able to get the assistance amount.

Benefits of these schemes will also be given
Under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana (Rural), 19 families have been found eligible for housing. They will get 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees in 3 installments.
Under MNREGA, 19 eligible beneficiaries will be benefited from the individual beneficiary-oriented scheme.
In the land lease, all the 20 deceased families will be given one bigha of land free of cost per family.
Under the CM Bal Seva Yojna, 9 children will be given 2500 rupees per month for studies up to class 12th.
One girl child will be given benefit under CM Kanya Sumangala Yojana.
Cleaning, anti-larva spraying and fogging were done under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
The work of installation of 20 street lights is going on in the Gram Panchayat.
Twenty families will be given benefit in Animal Husbandry Credit Card. In this, Rs 49700 per 2 unit animal and Rs 99700 for four units will be available.

20 street lights were installed in the village on Monday evening.

Under the PM Gram Sadak Yojana, the DPR of the road connecting village Kortha with Sadh Ghatampur State Road has been prepared and approved by the government. In the fisherman accident scheme, 20 families are being linked to the fisherman accident insurance scheme. The limit in this is up to Rs 5 lakh. Action will be taken to make Kisan Credit Card for fisheries activities by October 11. Under the Child Development and Nutrition Mission Scheme, dry ration will be distributed to all the 20 deceased families.
