Air India continues to be in the limelight. The latest case is that of a stone found in the food of a female passenger. AI-215 flight was going from Delhi to Kathmandu. The woman had shared the incident that happened with her on social media on January 8. Now the airline has said on this matter that it will take strict action against the caterer.

Air India said – we are sorry
In a statement on Tuesday, an Air India spokesperson said, “Air India has taken this incident very seriously. A female passenger on AI-215 found a stone in the food she was served during the flight. We are deeply concerned about the incident.” We are sorry and have apologized to the passenger.”
The spokesperson also said, “We have taken up the matter with the caterer. We will take strict action against the caterer.”

In recent times, Tata Group-owned Air India has come under fire from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for not reporting incidents of misbehavior with passengers on two international flights. The regulator has also issued a show cause notice to the airline.
