Neeraj Faridpuria, the henchman of Kaushal gang, lodged in Tihar Jail, has 21 cases of murder, robbery, extortion etc. registered against him.
On Tuesday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) team raided the house of 25 thousand prize crook Neeraj Faridpuria resident of Faridpur village of Greater Faridabad for about ten hours. About half a dozen NIA officers and a large number of police forces reached the house of gangster Neeraj, resident of Faridpur village, at around 4 am and started raids. During that time his mother and uncle were sleeping in the house. The NIA and police officials opened the door and started investigation. Both were barred from leaving the house. Sources said the officials searched every single room in the house and scrutinized all the documents kept in the cupboards. It is said that even the NIA has taken many papers with them. The raids continued till two o’clock in the afternoon. Excavation was also done with a spade in the basement of the house. The information about what was found in the excavation has not been found. It is believed that the NIA team is also investigating the possibility of Neeraj Faridpuria’s involvement in anti-national activities.
Involved in criminal activities for eight years
Police spokesman Sube Singh said that gangster Neeraj Faridpuria has been involved in criminal activities for the last 8 years. There are 21 cases registered against him. In which 4 cases are of murder and other 17 cases of attempt to murder, dacoity, robbery, extortion, illegal weapons, fighting etc. Neeraj does the work of illegal possession and illegal recovery. He had killed a person in Palwal as soon as he came out of jail on bail. In this case, there is a reward of 25000 on him. A month ago, the police had razed the place of worship occupied by Neeraj with a bulldozer. He too is absconding.
