Malda Murder: A case of murder has come to light from Malda district of West Bengal. A 40-year-old man was killed by his neighbor on Sunday evening for not returning Rs 500 borrowed in Gangaprasad Colony area of ​​Bamangola police station here. Bamangola police said that the accused has been identified as Prafulla Roy and arrested. The deceased has been identified as Banmali Pramanik.

There was a rift over non-payment of money on time

In fact, Banmali Pramanik had allegedly borrowed Rs 500 from his neighbor Prafulla Roy. Pramanik did not return Prafulla’s money within the stipulated time, due to which there was a rift between the two. It is being told that there used to be frequent quarrels between the two. When Prafulla reached Pramanik’s house to ask for his money on Sunday evening, he could not be found there.

Prafulla searched for Pramanik and found him at a local tea stall. On this, Prafulla asked for his loan in cash and when he did not get the money, he started beating Pramanik with a bamboo stick. Ajay Pramanik, the brother of the deceased, told that my brother was sitting with his friends in Gangaprasad Colony, when Prafulla came and started beating him.

Pramanik had vomited blood

Eyewitnesses also claimed that Pramanik was hit on the head and fell down. However, he regained consciousness in some time and went home. According to her brother Ajay Pramanik, Banmali started vomiting blood the next day, after which she was taken to the local Mudipukur hospital. From there he was referred to Malda. Here he was declared dead. The body has been sent to the Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
