Coronavirus Cases Today: The sudden spurt in Corona cases in India has started scaring people once again. In fact, along with the cases of corona infection, now the number of deaths due to it has also started increasing. The latest figures released by the Ministry of Health on Thursday (April 6) have drawn lines of concern on everyone’s forehead. According to government figures, 5 thousand 335 new cases of corona infection have been registered in the last 24 hours. These figures are the highest in the last 6 months.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry a day earlier i.e. on Wednesday (April 5), 4,435 new cases were registered across the country. 15 people had died with it. At the same time, earlier on Tuesday (April 4), 3,038 corona cases were registered and 9 died. If this trend is seen, then the figures of Corona have shaken people.
Why are Corona figures scaring?
According to the latest figures of Corona, now the total number of active cases in the country has increased to 25 thousand 587. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 6 people have died due to corona infection. If we look at the figures two days before the figures released today, a jump of about 50 per cent was also recorded in the figures of deaths due to corona.
Not only this, on April 4 there were 3,038 cases of corona. Which was the next day i.e. on 5 April, 4,435 cases were registered. If seen, a jump of about 45 percent was registered in new cases in a single day. At the same time, 5,335 new cases have been reported on Thursday (April 6). Which is 40 percent more than the cases of corona infection a day earlier.
At present it is difficult to trace the behavior of the new variant – Mansukh Mandaviya
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said regarding the increasing cases of corona that the government is constantly monitoring it and advisory has also been issued to the states. He said that new variants of corona virus are continuously coming out, which are worrying. He said that cases of variants and sub-variants of corona virus are being studied.
Mansukh Mandaviya said that the cases that have come up so far cannot be called dangerous. However, he also said that in view of the surge in Corona cases, caution has to be exercised. He said that it is difficult to say anything about how the new variant of Corona will behave.
Why is fear increasing among people?
Due to the increasing cases of Corona, there are apprehensions of lockdown once again among the people. However, no such indication has been given by the Central Government so far, but if in future corona virus If the situation is uncontrollable then the imposition of lockdown cannot be ruled out. Amidst all this, the Union Health Ministry has appealed to the people to adopt Covid appropriate behaviour. In which it has been asked to use masks, distance of two yards and sanitization in crowded areas.
No clear theory has come to the fore regarding this new variant of Corona. Although this new variant of Corona has been present for a long time, but the sudden increase in cases has raised concerns.
