Navjot Singh Sidhu, lodged in Punjab’s Patiala Jail, has demanded security ahead of Friday’s production in Ludhiana district. Not only this, the Punjab government and SSP Patiala have also been asked to promise security. It is noteworthy that Navjot Singh Sidhu has been summoned to appear in the Balwinder Singh Makkar V/S Bharat Bhushan Ashu case going on in the Ludhiana Court.

Navjot Singh Sidhu has written a letter to the Superintendent Jail for security. Sidhu has told that he is to appear in the Ludhiana court on October 21. His Z+ security was withdrawn just two days after he was in jail on 20 May 2022. Earlier he had gone for PGI checkup, but that visit was kept a secret.
But there is a lot of risk in the Ludhiana court, where the bomb blast took place. If anyone takes the responsibility of his security, be it SSP Patiala or the government, he is ready to appear in court. Otherwise, their video conferencing should be done.

Navjot Singh Sidhu wrote a letter to the jail superintendent even after being called for court appearance in the same case 6 months ago. In which he asked the government to learn from the killing of Sidhu Musewala. Even then he had appealed to be produced only through video conferencing.

Today is Navjot Singh Sidhu’s birthday
Today is also Navjot Singh Sidhu’s birthday. Today he is celebrating his 59th birthday. His family members are not with him as he is in jail. But his daughter has wished her father a happy birthday by putting a story on Instagram.

Navjot Singh Sidhu’s health in jail has also deteriorated on the day of his birthday. He has been brought to Rajindra Hospital Patiala for treatment. Sidhu had told the complaint of BP and soon after that his health started deteriorating. This is not the first time he has been brought out of jail for treatment. Sometime back he was also taken to PGI. Not only this, due to his liver disease, he is also given a special diet in jail, which is prescribed by the doctors.
