Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang inaugurated the ‘Narela Rakshabandhan Festival’ in Bhopal. In the Raksha Bandhan festival organized at Chhola Dussehra Ground, Subhash Phatak Sports Ground and Rajendra Nagar in the capital, 27 thousand 300 sisters tied defense threads to Minister Vishwas Sarang on the first day. Addressing everyone in the program, Minister Sarang said that the Narela region is not the assembly but the Narela family. Narela Rakshabandhan Festival is the grandest festival of Narela Vidhan Sabha. Every year more than 70 thousand sisters tie the thread of protection and give their love and blessings. For the last two years, the Rakshabandhan festival could not be held due to Corona.
Example of patriotism and unbroken relationship between brother and sister seen from ‘Tiranga Rakhi’
Sisters of Narela Vidhan Sabha tied ‘Tiranga Rakhi’ to Minister Sarang during Raksha Bandhan Festival. This unique Rakhi adorned in three colors was prepared by the sisters themselves. Apart from this, pictures of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan ji and Rakhi made of flowers were also the center of attraction. Minister Shri Sarang presented purse and aarti collection to all the sisters as a gift. In the ceremony, arrangements were made for the sisters’ food.
Sisters waited for their turn by queuing
On the first day of the Raksha Bandhan festival, which lasted for about a week, huge crowds gathered at the venues in Ward 76, 44 and 37 of Narela Vidhan Sabha. In the ceremony, the sisters themselves waited for their turn and tied rakhi to Mr. Sarang. Elderly sisters tied a protective thread and blessed the minister by placing their hands on Sarang’s head.
This time more than 1 lakh sisters will be involved in Rakshabandhan festival
Narela Vidhan Sabha Mahotsav is being organized continuously for the last 10 years in Narela Vidhan Sabha. Due to not being organized during the Corona period, this time the event is grand for all the years. More than 1 lakh sisters are expected to participate in this event than last time. Ruma Sarang, wife of Minister Sarang also participated in the Raksha Bandhan festival.
