1. In this case, Raju Pal’s wife and SP MLA Pooja Pal threatened the CM Yogi Adityanath Has written a letter to requesting for Y+ security. Pooja Pal says that she is also a witness in the Raju Pal murder case.
2. Pooja Pal told that the trial of the case is in the final stages in the CBI court of Lucknow. International criminal Atiq Ahmed and his gang are accused in the trial. Atiq Ahmed has killed Umesh Pal, the witness of Raju Pal murder case, 3 days back. To influence the Raju Pal murder case, these people can do any untoward incident with him. There should be adequate arrangements for my security and other witnesses related to the case should also get adequate security. I can also meet CM Yogi soon regarding the demand for security.
3. Shaista Parveen, wife of former Bahubali MP Atiq Ahmed, has written a letter to CM Yogi and the UP government, demanding a CBI inquiry into the Umesh Pal murder case. In the letter, Shaista has also expressed the apprehension of an encounter between the two sons in custody. Apart from this, the possibility of murder of husband Atiq Ahmed, who is lodged in Gujarat jail and brother-in-law, Khalid Azim alias Ashraf, who is lodged in Bareilly jail has also been expressed.
4. Shaista Parveen said that everything will be clear if the CBI probe into the Umesh Pal murder case is done. Shaista has declared herself and her family innocent. He said that he and his family have nothing to do with the Umesh Pal murder case. Shaista Parveen is the named accused in the Umesh Pal murder case. BSP has also made Shaista the mayoral candidate from Prayagraj.
5. After the murder of Umesh Pal, the security of his house has been increased. Along with the police, a large number of PAC personnel have also been deployed in and around Umesh’s house. About 150 police and PAC personnel are engaged in the security of Umesh Pal’s house and surrounding areas, who are doing duty in different shifts. Women police personnel have also been deployed for the security of Umesh Pal’s house. Many security personnel have been deployed in plain dress only.
6. Along with road-rail, water and air routes are also being monitored for the arrest of the attackers in the Umesh Pal murder case. Police and STF teams in plain dress have been deployed at bus stand and railway station as well as airport and ghats of Yamuna river. It is feared that some criminals involved in the incident are still hiding in Prayagraj. It is being suspected that these criminals may try to escape out of the city by air or waterway instead of road and rail. Special monitoring is being done on the routes leading to the airport and the ghats of Yamuna river.
7. Even after four days of the Umesh Pal murder case, the hands of the police are empty. Two wheeler and four wheeler vehicles are being stopped and searched. Photos of the attackers and other accused have also been shown to the police teams engaged in surveillance. The police have not been able to disclose the matter yet. Till now no accused has been arrested.
8. Police has interrogated more than 40 suspects in the Umesh Pal murder case so far. The police have also detained more than a dozen people. 10 teams are continuously raiding to arrest the attackers.
9. Shooter Guddu Muslim and Ghulam are still away from the grip of the police. Many of his close relatives have been detained by the police and STF on the basis of suspicion. Along with Prayagraj, raids have been conducted in Kaushambi, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Basti and Mau districts.
10. STF has also picked up a suspect from Basti district. Shooter Guddu Muslim and Mafia Atiq Ahmed have a very old relationship. Along with Atiq Ahmed, Guddu Muslim is also an accused in the famous murder case of the then BSP MLA Raju Pal that took place 18 years ago.
