MP, DM and SP reached the flood affected areas in Siddharthnagar.
MP Jagdambika Pal, DM Sanjeev Ranjan, SP Amit Kumar Anand visited the flood affected village Khairi Sheetal Prasad of the district on Saturday. Apart from this, the officials reached the flood affected Mauryadih, Khairi, Cheergana, Nakoldih and got information about the situation from the people.
DM Sanjeev Ranjan said that the administration is engaged in rescue work with full readiness. Every effort is being made to protect the life and property of the people. The administration is busy in providing facilities to the people trapped in the village. Relief material and lunch packets are being distributed among them.

The DM said that the work of rescuing the people trapped in the floods and taking them to safer places is being done on a war footing. Administration teams are constantly camping in the flood affected areas. Lunch packets are being distributed among the victims.
