More toll will have to be paid on Jaipur-Delhi highway from tonight: Car going by car will have to pay Rs 25 more, rates increased by 15 percent

Coming to Jaipur-Delhi will now become expensive. Even though the toll period has been completed on the bypass here, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is not stopping toll collection on it. Toll rates on this bypass will be increased by 15 percent from 12 tonight. After this, if a car driver goes from Jaipur to Delhi, then he will have to pay Rs 25 more toll tax than before.

Actually, the Jaipur-Delhi bypass was built on a built operate and transfer (BOT) basis. The cost of this project built from Jaipur to Gurgaon was about Rs 3678 crore. Toll tax is collected at 3 places on this toll road of 225 km length on Jaipur-Gurgaon highway. Pinkcity Express Pvt Ltd at Shahjahanpur, Manohpur and Daulatpura. Toll tax was collected. The contract of this company expired on May 31 last month, after which NHAI started recovery at its level. From April 2009 to December 2021, more than Rs 6384 crore has been collected at all the three toll booths on this highway, which is twice the total cost of the project.

Going to Delhi will cost Rs 25 by car
A car driver going from Jaipur to Delhi has to pay a toll of Rs 285 at 3 places (Manoharpur, Shahjahanpur and Gurgaon), but from 12 o’clock tonight, this amount will now increase to Rs 310. You will have to pay Rs 10 more on Manoharpur toll and Rs 15 more on Shahjahanpur toll. Similarly, if a car driver goes from Jaipur to Delhi via C-Zone Bypass (Daulatpura), then he will have to pay Rs 375. During this time it will have to pay toll tax at four places.
