MoU has been signed between TMU University of Moradabad and Ostra Parshvanath Jain Shvetambara Pagan Trust.
An MoU has been signed between Tirthankar Mahaveer University (TMU) of Moradabad and Shri Ostra Parshvanath Jain Shvetambara Pagan Trust.
With this, the university has opened the doors of Jain study and research for Jain scholars from all over the world. Shri Atma Vallabh Samudra Suri Jain Akshay Nidhi Peeth has also been established in the university. Pro. Dharamchand Jain has been appointed as Professor Chair of the Chair. The MoU was signed by Registrar Dr. Aditya Sharma on behalf of TMU and Dr. Jai Kumar Dhadda on behalf of the Trust.
With the signing of the MoU, opportunities for Jain study and research will be available in the university for the students of Jain society.
After the signing of the MoU, Suresh Jain, the university’s chancellor, said that this MoU is not just a document, but an inscription. On this occasion, Atmanand Jain Sabha and Shri Ostra Parshvanath Jain Shwetambar Idol Worship Trust honored Chancellor Suresh Jain as the Samajaratna of Jain society.
University Chancellor Suresh Jain has described it as an important achievement.
The university says that, after the signing of this MoU, the doors of Jain study and research have now been opened for the Jain scholars of the world at Tirthankar Mahaveer University. Hundreds of devotees belonging to Shvetambara stream participated on this occasion. Hundreds of delegates from states like UP, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jammu, Delhi etc. also participated in this program.
