Delhi Double Murder: A 64-year-old woman and her daughter were murdered in Delhi’s Krishna Nagar. Police said that two cousins have been arrested on charges of murder and robbery. The accused carried out the murder under ‘Mission Malamal’. The motive of the murder was to become rich.
Police said that both the accused have been identified as Kishan (28) and his cousin Ankit Kumar Singh (25). Both are residents of Bihar’s Siwan district and were currently living in Kishan Laxmi Nagar. Akit is a singer and has a music band.
Told the police that Ankit was preparing lyrics and music for a film coming on the over-the-top (OTT) platform. The dead bodies of Rajrani and her daughter Ginni Kirar were found in a decomposed condition in Krishna Nagar on 31 May. Also, insects were found in his dead body. Apart from this, the accused had approached two lawyers for legal advice before committing the crime.
Explored more than 200 cameras
Police said a person called the PCR after a foul smell emanated from a flat on the first floor of a building in E Block of Krishna Nagar. Then the police broke the lock of the house and took out the bodies of both. Police searched more than 200 cameras. He saw the accused entering a house after committing the crime. Deputy Commissioner of Police Meena said that according to the information received from the camera, the police raided the house and found that the house belonged to the main accused Krishna Nagar.
Started visiting the dead’s house from April
Police told that as soon as Kishan came to know that the bodies of the women had been found, he ran away from the house. Police chased him and arrested him from Kanti Nagar area of Delhi. On enquiry, it was found that he was working as a marketing manager in a medical firm. He had got himself registered in a website providing online tutor service, due to which he came in contact with Rajrani. Rajrani needed a computer tutor for her handicapped daughter, Ginni Kirar. Kishan started visiting Rajrani’s house from April to tutor Ginni and gradually gained the trust of the women.
When Rajrani wanted to shift, Kishan also helped her find a house in Lajpat Nagar. Rajrani had shared accounts with Kishan for online payments, in which she came to know that he had more than Rs 50 lakh in his bank account. After which he planned to kill them.
The assassination plot was named ‘Mission Malamal’
Kishan then planned to rob the victim and on May 17 named his conspiracy on WhatsApp as ‘Mission Malamal’. The accused Ankit had come to Delhi from Assam to carry out the ‘mission’. Rajrani was looking for another tutor for her daughter. Because of which Kishan introduced Ankit to him. Upon Rajrani’s consent, Kishan sends a message to Ankit that Mission Malamaal is on. After which he carried out the incident and escaped after cleaning the house.
