Delhi Minor Girl Sexually Assaulted: A case of rape with a six-year-old girl has come to light in Delhi. A minor boy living on rent has been accused of rape. The matter is of New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. A minor girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy in New Ashok Nagar area.
When the girl’s health deteriorated, the family members immediately took her to the hospital. On June 5, the police received information about sexual harassment of a minor girl at New Ashok Nagar Police Station from LBS Hospital in Delhi. As soon as the information was received, a police team immediately reached the hospital where the girl was undergoing treatment. Her parents were also present there along with the child.
Case registered under POCSO Act,
In questioning the victim girl, the police got information that it was the tenant who sexually assaulted the girl. It is alleged that a minor boy living in the tenant’s house has raped a six-year-old girl. Taking immediate action, the New Ashok Nagar police station has registered a case against the accused under the POCSO Act and other sections.
In the FIR lodged at Police Station New Ashok Nagar, charges have been leveled against the minor accused under Section 376 of IPC and 6 of the Poxo Act. Along with the FIR, the police also arrested the minor accused. The accused has been caught and sent to Juvenile Jail.
In a statement, the Delhi Police said, “A minor girl living in New Ashok Nagar area was allegedly raped by a minor boy on June 5. A case has been registered under section 376 of the IPC and 6 of the POCSO Act. The accused The accused has been arrested and sent to a juvenile home. Further investigation is underway.”
