Minister Banwari Lal’s statement in the WFI case: said in Ambala – the allegations against the president should be investigated; take action against the culprits

Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Singh has been accused of sexual harassment by wrestlers from Haryana. The players are adamant on demanding the resignation of WFI President Brij Bhushan Singh along with the dissolution of the union unit sitting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

Haryana’s Cooperative Minister Dr. Banwari Lal has also demanded a fair inquiry. Dr. Banwari Lal said that there should be an impartial inquiry into the allegations against the WFI President. The government should take strict action against whoever is found guilty in the investigation.

E-tendering implemented to bring transparency
Apart from this, the Cooperative Minister has also justified e-tendering. The minister said that the government has implemented e-tendering policy to bring transparency. The work of getting development works done in a transparent manner is being done. E-tendering will bring more transparency in development works. Sarpanch can get development work done in his village up to Rs 2 lakh. If he has to get development works done more than Rs 2 lakh, then he will have to adopt e-tendering.
