Market Capitalization In India: The market capitalization of 6 out of the 10 most valuable companies in the country’s stock market has reduced by a total of Rs 78,163 crore in the last trading week. In this, Reliance Industries has suffered the most.

Last trading week, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)’s major index Sensex (Sensex) fell about 271.32 points or 0.46 percent. Along with this, there was a fall in the market valuation of Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever (HUL), Bajaj Finance and State Bank of India (SBI).

On the other hand, the market value of TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys and HDFC increased this week. The market value of these four companies increased by a total of Rs 30,467.03 crore in the last trading week, which is much less than the decline in the valuation of the remaining six companies.

Reliance Industries’ valuation fell

The valuation of Reliance Industries, which has the highest weightage in the Sensex, has fallen by Rs 42,113.47 crore last week. Now its total market value has gone up to Rs 16,04,069.19 crore. Similarly, the market capitalization of Bharti Airtel declined by Rs 15,159.81 crore to Rs 4,26,226.99 crore last week. At the same time, the market capitalization of ICICI Bank has come down by Rs 8,272.37 crore to Rs 6,06,317.50 crore.

The market capitalization of these companies decreased

The market capitalization of Hindustan Unilever declined by Rs 5,404.06 crore to Rs 6,05,219.47 crore and that of Bajaj Finance declined by Rs 4,268.28 crore to Rs 4,40,295.38 crore. The market capitalization of State Bank of India declined by Rs 2,945.12 crore to Rs 4,70,371.66 crore. During this period, the market cap of TCS has increased by Rs 11,965 crore to Rs 11,33,446.05 crore among the companies registering growth.

Infosys increased market cap

The market cap of Infosys increased by Rs 9,383.46 crore to Rs 6,20,254.82 crore. HDFC Bank’s market valuation increased by Rs 5,792.76 crore to Rs 8,02,686.8 crore last week. At the same time, the market valuation of HDFC increased by Rs 3,325.71 crore to Rs 4,26,135.93 crore.

Reliance Industries top notch

Talking about the country’s most valuable companies listed in the stock market, Reliance Industry still remains at the top. While TCS and HDFC are in second and third place respectively. After this, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, SBI, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel and HDFC are included in this list.
