Hello,
Violence broke out in Manipur following a clash between tribal and non-tribal communities. To control this, the state government has given shoot-at-sight orders to the rioters. There will be curfew in 8 districts of the state and internet ban for the next 5 days. 55 companies of Army and Assam Rifles have been deployed.
In fact, the non-tribal Meitei community in Manipur is demanding Schedule Tribe (ST) status for itself, which is being opposed by the tribal communities. Tribal solidarity march was called on Wednesday in protest by the tribal community. This was followed by violence between the tribal and non-tribal communities.
On the other hand, 50 Hindus belonging to 10 families have been converted to Islam in Sindh province of Pakistan. These include a 1-year-old girl. Mohammad Shamroz Khan, son of Religious Affairs Minister Mohammad Talha Mehmood and Member of Parliament, was also present on the occasion of conversion. Hindu activists of Pakistan have opposed it.

1. More than 53% people of Meitei community in Manipur have been demanding ST status for 10 years
The All Tribal Students Union had called the Tribal Solidarity March on Wednesday. This led to violence.
The Manipur High Court has directed the state government to consider the demand of the Meitei community and send recommendations to the Center within 4 months. After this order, violence started between tribals and non-tribals. CM Biren Singh said that the reason for the violence is misunderstanding between the two communities. Long standing grievances will be resolved through consultations.
The Meitei community, which forms 53% of the population in Manipur, lives in the valley. For the last 10 years, the community has been demanding ST status. They say that people from Myanmar and Bangladesh have entered the state on a large scale and because of that they are facing problems. As per the existing law, the Meitei community is not allowed to settle in the hilly areas of the state.

2. Dangal girl Geeta Phogat was stopped from going to Jantar Mantar, Brij Bhushan said – I have no enmity with anyone
Today is the 13th day of the wrestlers’ dharna at Jantar Mantar. Delhi Police detained Dangal Girl and Haryana Police DSP Geeta Phogat who was going to meet wrestlers. Earlier on Wednesday, there was a clash between the wrestlers and the police. The wrestlers allege that the drunken policemen beat them up and abused them. Angry wrestlers have also talked about returning their medal-awards.
On the other hand, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, president of the wrestling association, said, ‘I have not done any injustice, misbehavior or molestation with anyone. I have treated them like children of the family. He has been given a lot of love and respect. It is unfortunate that our same love and respect is becoming a noose around our neck. I have no malice or enmity with anyone. I will continue to do my job, I have faith in the judiciary.

3. Bajrang Dal workers ransacked the Congress office, Kamal Nath demanded action
Bajrang Dal workers attacked the Jabalpur office of Congress. Bajrang Dal workers were protesting outside the office. During this, they indulged in vandalism and stone pelting. The protesters also tore the poster of senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi put up outside the office. State Congress President Kamal Nath has demanded strict action against the vandalists.
On the other hand, an official of Bajrang Dal said that the vandalism and ruckus was done by Congress workers only. Police has detained the campaigner of Bajrang Dal in this case. 4. Ban on caste enumeration in Bihar, High Court said – Collected do not destroy data
The Patna High Court stayed the ongoing caste-based census in Bihar. The High Court has also asked to keep the data collected so far secure. The caste census started in Bihar from January 7. In the petition filed against this, it has been said that the state government does not have the constitutional right to conduct caste enumeration. 500 crore rupees are being spent in this, which is a waste of tax money.
The next hearing of the case will be on July 3. Here, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that the caste-based enumeration is being done unanimously. We have taken permission from the Center for this. Earlier we wanted caste-based census to be done in the whole country, but when the central government did not agree, we decided to conduct caste-based census cum economic survey.

5. Conversion of 50 Hindus in Pakistan’s Sindh, Islam training was given in the center for 4 months
This photo of the conversion program has been released by Pakistan’s newspaper ‘The Express Tribune’.
A special ceremony was organized for mass conversion of Hindus in Mirpurkhas of Sindh province of Pakistan. Before changing religion, he was given training in Islam for 4 months. About a month ago, a Hindu MP from Pakistan accused his fellow MPs of pressurizing them to convert. Balochistan leader Danish Kumar had kept his point in the Parliament.
Kari Taimur Rajput, the caretaker of the organization which organized this conversion program, said – A total of 10 families have been included in Islam. He has become a Muslim by choice. We didn’t put any pressure. Many local people were present on this occasion. He said that usually we convert the whole family to Islam. If one person is converted, then there is a dispute.
