Manchester United have already opened talks with the representatives of Benfica wonderkid Joao Neves over a summer transfer.
The 19-year-old is one of the most sought-after youngsters in European football and he could be on the move in the summer.
Neves is a defensive midfielder by trade but he has the ability to play in the number eight role and can also feature as a right winger.
His versatility has caught the eye of United this term and reports claim that they have already spoken with his agent Jorge Mendes.
Mendes has a good relationship with United right from the time of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s first stint and this could help in Neves’ pursuit.
Aside from the Red Devils, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also tracking the youngster extensively ahead of the summer.
Neves currently has a release clause worth €120 million in his contract and Benfica may not accept anything less to sanction his sale at the end of the season.
