Man Utd don’t anticipate any more signings

Manchester United don’t plan to make any more signings before the transfer window closes on Thursday.

The Red Devils recently confirmed the purchase of Antony from Ajax for €100m and this has emptied their transfer budget.

According to The Telegraph, the club were initially hoping to land Antony for €60m, but ended up paying a hefty fee for the Brazilian.

In doing so, they have utilised their remaining budget for the summer, and don’t anticipate any permanent deals before the deadline.

A new right-back has been a priority for manager Erik ten Hag, but that may only materialise if Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaves permanently.

That is highly unlikely at the current point of time. West Ham United and Crystal Palace are only looking into loan deals for the 24-year-old.

Barring a drastic change of events, it seems unlikely that a new right-back will arrive before the transfer deadline at 11pm on Thursday.

Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka could be United’s final summer signing. He is set to join the club on an initial loan deal.
