TMC MP Mahua Moitra used abusive words for BJP MPs in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, for which BJP MPs took strong objection and demanded an apology from them, but she still stands by her statement.
Moitra said on Wednesday – Whatever I said in the House, I have not said on record, the BJP party will now teach us what is parliamentary etiquette and what is not. I would call an apple an apple, not an orange. If they take me to the Committee of Privileges, I will present my case.
In fact, the TMC MP had used unparliamentary language in the Lok Sabha yesterday, for which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had also objected. He said – nothing will go on record. Some very harsh and objectionable words have been used. I will ask the Parliamentary Affairs Minister to talk to TMC.
Told the country what is Adani Gate – Moitra
The TMC MP further said that the BJP is saying that how can I use such a word being a woman. Do I need to be a man to say that? He said that for the first time we showed the people of the country what Adani Gate is after all. BJP has been trying to hide this for the last 3 years. I am happy that all opposition parties came out together.
Mahua Moitra said that BJP people should not teach us manners.
BJP bid – MPs should learn to be in control
BJP MPs expressed displeasure over Moitra’s use of objectionable words in the House. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that I will ask him to apologise. If they don’t do this then it is their culture. On the other hand, BJP MP from Mathura Hema Malini said that this should not happen in the House, all respected people who come here should keep themselves under control. No need to be too emotional, some people get too fired up.
TDP MP Rammohan Naidu was speaking in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. That’s why Mahua Moitra got up from the chair and used abusive words for any BJP member.
PM Modi’s A-company hoodwinked the entire country
Raising the issue of Adani, strongly criticized the central government. Moitra said without naming Adani – I will talk about the most famous person in this country at the moment, he is not PM Modi. These famous people whose name starts with A and ends with I are not even Advani. I will call them A during my speech and call their group A-company. We are fooled. I have brought this cap with me because this person has worn the cap to the whole country.
Actually, MP Moitra was speaking in the Lok Sabha on the Hindenburg report regarding Adani Group. During this, he also used the birthday cap during his speech. Waving his cap in the House, he said that nowadays a businessman is discussed the most, he has fooled the government. Moitra raised the question as to why the FPO of Adani Group was given approval without completing the investigation report. After this, he demanded that there should be an inquiry against the activities of Adani Group.
Opposition is not allowed to speak in the House – Moitra
Moitra said in the Lok Sabha – If any leader of the opposition speaks in the house, then the people of the ruling party do not allow him to speak in the house. Moitra said that we can neither speak China, nor BBC, nor Morbi, nor Rafale, cannot even take the name of Modi ji. Opposition MPs are always forced to walk out.
