Maharashtra Coronavirus Cases: There is a continuous increase in the cases of corona in Maharashtra. On Sunday, 397 new cases of corona were reported in the state. Maharashtra Health Department gave this information. However, during this period 236 corona patients were also cured, who were discharged from the hospital.
With this, the number of patients recovering from corona has increased to 79,91,302 in the state. At the same time, the recovery rate from Corona in the state remains 98.15%. There is no news of anyone’s death from Corona in the city on Sunday. The death rate from corona in the state is 1.82%.
Active cases of corona crossed 500 in Mumbai
A day ago, 437 cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra. If we talk about Mumbai, then the number of active corona patients in Mumbai has crossed 500. There are now 558 active cases of corona in Mumbai. Today 123 new cases of corona were registered in Mumbai. Currently 43 corona patients are admitted in various hospitals of Mumbai, out of which 21 patients are on oxygen.
Screening of passengers coming from abroad continues at the airport
At the same time, 8,65,83,011 corona tests have been done in the state so far, out of which 81,41,854 (09.40%) have been found positive. In view of the Corona situation, screening of passengers coming from abroad is being done from 24 December 2022 itself at the state’s Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur airports. Today 15,59,137 passengers arrived at various airports in Maharashtra, out of which RT-PCR test was done for 34,692 out of which 42 samples found positive were sent for genome sequencing. And
