Under the leadership of Sunil Kavde of Aam Aadmi Party, the village sarpanch and women of self-help groups submitted a memorandum to the district administration in the name of the collector, stating that a loan of Rs 4 lakh has been taken by the women self-help group from the bank for fish farming. Fish seed worth 3 lakh 50 thousand has been put in the pond by the group, despite this, in place of tribal women self help group, a fisherman of Mandvi was approved for pond fish farming.

The women say that in such a situation the group will have to face heavy losses. At the same time, these women will also face the crisis of livelihood, as well as they will be unable to repay the loan taken from the bank. and requested to take appropriate action. It is worth mentioning that in this regard, earlier on March 20, information was given by the Gram Panchayat to grant permission for fish farming to Durga Self Help Group in Athner Janpad Panchayat. According to the rules, receipt has also been deducted for fish farming by this group. Despite this, due to the approval of the pond to other fishermen, a situation of financial crisis has arisen in front of the women of the group.
