Corona Cases in India: The havoc of Corona infection in India is not yet completely over. In the last 24 hours, 635 new cases of Kovid were reported in the country and 11 infected people lost their lives. Now the total number of corona infected has increased to 4 crore 46 lakh 67 thousand 311. In the last 24 hours, more than one thousand people have been cured. With this, the number of corona active patients decreased from 7 thousand 561 to 7 thousand 175.
So far about 220 crore doses of corona vaccine have been given in the country. In the last 24 hours, 1 lakh 19 thousand 851 people took the vaccine to protect against corona. The total death toll from Corona has increased to 5 lakh 30 thousand 546. Nine people from Kerala are also included in the total of 11 deaths in 24 hours, whose names have been added to the list of patients who lost their lives due to the global pandemic, while re-matching the figures of death due to infection. There have been two cases of death due to infection, one of them is from Maharashtra and one patient is from Delhi.
Infection rate in the country
According to the new data, the number of active patients of corona virus infection in the country has come down to 7 thousand 175, which is 0.02 percent of the total cases. In the last 24 hours, a decrease of 386 has been registered in the number of active patients. At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients is 98.79 percent.
According to statistics, so far a total of 4 crore 41 lakh 29 thousand 590 people in the country have been free from corona virus infection while the death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.19 percent. At the same time, 219.83 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
Corona’s previous figures
The number of corona virus infected in India had crossed 20 lakh on August 2020, 30 lakh on 23 August 2020 and 40 lakh on 5 September 2020. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November 2020.
On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. Last year on May 4, the number of infected had crossed two crore and on June 23, 2021, it crossed three crore. On January 25 this year, the total cases of infection had crossed four crores.
