When Karan Johar Met Madhuri Dixit On Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Sets: Karan Johar dominates every platform related to entertainment. Whether it is a big screen or a small screen. She is going to return as a judge in the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’. He is very excited about this, because once again he has got the support of Madhuri Dixit on the sets.
Karan says that he is the biggest critic of his work and is never satisfied with his work. He said, “I am never satisfied with my work and often others tell me it was good, but I think I could have done better. I am my own biggest critic.”
Karan is back in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’ after a gap of five years with Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi as judges. During the launch of the show, he shared with IANS what is special for the audience in the new season.
Meeting Madhuri on the sets was like a reunion
Karan said, “It was a reality show, which I did in 2012. I judged it for five years. Now it is coming after five years and the makers approached me and said that there is a demand to bring back the show. So Madhuri and I came together and this time the show has a new twist, because there is Nora and it is going to be very exciting this time. When I met Madhuri for the first time on the sets, it was like a reunion.”
Karan also talked about what new viewers are going to see in the show this season. He said, “The kind of talent this time was never there in the last season. They are all dressed up and all the 12 contestants look like trained dancers. Earlier ‘Jhalak’ ranged from non-dancer to dancer, But now all are trained dancers except Zoravar who is a non-dancer.
Karan also shared the parameters by which he judges talent. He said, “For me there are three factors – the efficiency in your performance, the energy and the way you make others feel with your dance and the concept of the whole performance, I look at all these in terms of talent.”
