Anti-hijab Protest: Nilofar Hamedi, a female journalist who talks about protecting women’s rights in Iran, has been jailed without any charges. Journalists around the world are demanding his release. According to the news agency Reuters, taking a picture of Mahsa Amini’s parents embracing each other, admitted to a hospital in Tehran, cost Nilofar dearly.
Amini was arrested by Iran’s Morality Police for not wearing proper clothes and after that Mahisi was admitted to the hospital in a coma condition. On 16 September, it was because of Hamidi’s photograph that the movements started in Iran. The picture of 22-year-old Amini was the first signal to the world that all is not well in Iran.
