Jad Hadid finally got to kiss Akanksha Puri on Bigg Boss OTT 2. Live camera caught them sharing a steamy kiss on Thursday, on a dare from other team mates during a task. During the current ‘task’ between black and white teams, Jad and Akansha were ‘dared’ to kiss each other on the lips. Avinash Sachdeva made the announcement as the teams haggled about how long the kiss should be. When it was decided that 30 seconds should be appropriate duration, Akanksha and Jad prepared themselves for the ‘task’. They smiled throughout the kiss as those around him cheered and hooted. Upon the completion of 30 seconds, they were told by others in the house to let go of each other. Pooja Bhatt even told them to stop already. Manisha Rani, who seems to have a crush on Jad, did not look upset either.
Twitter was divided in its reaction to the kiss. While some joked about the moment, other were a little offended. “Akanksha and jad hv to do lip kiss for 30 sec. I guess this is the only task that jad can do well. Dono ne bohot shiddat se task complete kiya (Both completed the task with full conviction),” wrote one. “Astagfriullah,” exclaimed a person. “Bigg boss show abb ki baar kuch jyada he unfiltered or uncensored h (Bigg Boss is a little too unfiltered and uncensored this time around),” tweeted another person. After the moment was shown on live camera, Jad began trending on Twitter.
Jad Hadid is a Lebanese model who lives in Dubai. He is a divorcee and has a young daughter. Akanksha Puri was seen for a short while on Bigg Boss 13 and won the reality show Mika Di Vohti.
Bigg Boss OTT 2 started earlier this month and is hosted by Salman Khan. Salman had, however, spoken about keeping things ‘sanskari’ on the show even thought it is shown on OTT. We wonder what he’ll have to say about Jad and Akanksha’s kiss on Weekend Ka Vaar.
