After this, Dr. Patil has made a passionate appeal to the Government of India. He has said that the Indian government should help in bringing back his pets.

Dr. Gidikumar Patil, 42, popularly known as Jaguar Kumar, said that his biggest priority is to save his jaguar Yash and the female leopard Sabrina. He appealed to the Indian Embassy for help and said that he considers protecting the life of his pet as his supreme religion.
Many rare species exist

He had opted for one of the rare breeds of big cats and the endangered species Jaguar. He also has a license to keep jaguars. Dr. Patil was forced to leave Kyiv with a farmer there. Satisfactory reply was not received from Indian Embassy
On not getting any satisfactory reply from the Indian Embassy in Kyiv, Dr. Patil has requested the Government of India to intervene in the matter. Patil, while talking to the media in Warsaw, said that the Indian government needs to take major steps with immediate effect for the protection of cats. He stressed that the government should provide all possible help.
