Indian doctor seeks help for pet jaguar and leopard trapped in Ukraine


Russia-Ukraine War: The war going on between Ukraine and Russia for the last 8 months is not taking its name to end. The civilians of both the countries have suffered a lot in this war. Many people have migrated to other countries. People are also taking their pets along with them, but Dr. Gidikumar Patil of Indian origin was not allowed to take pets with them.

After this, Dr. Patil has made a passionate appeal to the Government of India. He has said that the Indian government should help in bringing back his pets.

Jaguars are known as

Dr. Gidikumar Patil, 42, popularly known as Jaguar Kumar, said that his biggest priority is to save his jaguar Yash and the female leopard Sabrina. He appealed to the Indian Embassy for help and said that he considers protecting the life of his pet as his supreme religion.

Many rare species exist


Let us tell you that he had many rare species of pets, including precious cats, black panthers and leopards. They claim that the Jaguar species they have is the rarest in the world. He had opted for one of the rare breeds of big cats and the endangered species Jaguar. He also has a license to keep jaguars. Dr. Patil was forced to leave Kyiv with a farmer there. Due to the war in this area of ​​Ukraine, the situation remained very tense.


Satisfactory reply was not received from Indian Embassy

On not getting any satisfactory reply from the Indian Embassy in Kyiv, Dr. Patil has requested the Government of India to intervene in the matter. Patil, while talking to the media in Warsaw, said that the Indian government needs to take major steps with immediate effect for the protection of cats. He stressed that the government should provide all possible help.

Recalling his cats, Dr. Patil said that due to the absence of cats, he has become depressed. He believes that he cannot stay away from his cats for long. Dr. Patil is now working in a hospital in Svatov, Severodonetsk.

All savings spent on cats

He took two rare pets from a zoo in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, about two years ago. Since then I have been completely devoted to him. Patil also runs his own YouTube channel. The subscribers of his channel are in lakhs, where he keeps posting his videos related to his pet. Coming from a middle class family, Patil has invested most of his savings in his animal love in feeding and caring for the big cats.
