Imran Khan Terror Case: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has got a big relief. The Anti Terror Court has put a stay on his arrest till 1 September. Actually, Imran was accused of threatening a sessions judge during a public rally.
In fact, on August 20, Imran Khan threatened Additional Sessions Judge Jeba Chowdhury at a public rally soon after he appeared before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad. A case of terrorism was registered against him against him.
Even before his arrest, Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Raza Javed Abbas Hasan has granted bail to Imran Khan on a guarantee of one lakh rupees. However, security was tightened around the Federal Judicial Complex when Imran reached the court.
Imran took the decision to file bail application
Earlier on Wednesday, August 23, Imran Khan presided over a meeting of the party’s legal committee. Where it was decided that an application for the bail of the former Prime Minister would be filed in ATC Islamabad. It was decided in this meeting itself that Imran himself would appear before the Anti Terror Court.
Threatened about the torture happening with Shahbaz Gill
Imran Khan had claimed to have tortured PTI leader Dr. Shahbaz Gill in custody. He also organized a rally in Islamabad regarding this. During this, he also warned the Inspector General and Deputy Inspector General of Islamabad that he “will not spare” them.
An FIR was registered against Khan at the Margalla police station in Islamabad regarding this. The FIR, registered by a magistrate identified as Ali Javed, said that Khan had threatened top police officers and a respected lady additional judge during a rally at F-9 Park.
