EO Kuljeet Kaur has been considered as the main architect of the alleged scam of plot allotment of Improvement Trust. In the challan presented in the court by Vigilance in the case, 4 people including Trust’s EO Kuljeet Kaur have been made accused. But the main accused was told to EO only.
Bribery taken for chairman and leaders
Other accused arrested include sales clerk Praveen Kumar, Raman Balasubramaniam’s PA Sandeep Sharma and Kamaldeep Singh as co-accused. Vigilance has told the court that there is sufficient evidence against the accused. According to the Vigilance investigation, the accused used to take bribes for the chairman and other leaders by tampering with the bid for plot allotment.

Vigilance has attached documents related to plot allotment, records of Improvement Trust, call details of some people who came under the radar of investigation and list of witnesses along with the challan. However, the investigation of the matter by Vigilance is going on for the time being.
They were also made accused
The roles of Raman Balasubramaniam, XEN Buta Ram, Jagdev Singh, JE Inderjit Singh and Mandeep Singh, former chairman of the Improvement Trust, have also been revealed. For this reason, Vigilance has also made them accused. However, none of them has been arrested.
Property dealer gave Rs 55 lakh
In the matter, Vigilance had registered a case on the statement of EO. According to this case, it is alleged that a bribe of Rs 55 lakh was given by a property dealer on Chandigarh Road for allotment of plot no-106/D of Rishinagar. It is alleged that the former chairman’s PA molested the officials in connivance with the officials.
