In Ballia, the importance of Bhrigu Kshetra increases in the month of Kartik. In all the four ages, the deities, gods, gandharvas and sages of the three worlds live in Kalpavas. Bathing in the Ganges has special significance. On the festival of Deepawali, the historical and mythological six-day Panchkoshi Yatra from Bhrigu temple left for Garg Ashram Sagarpali. Horse and female and male devotees were involved in the yatra with music.

Thakur ji did not participate in the yatra due to the eclipse being a Sutak. The devotee took him to Garg Ashram early in the morning. The Panchkoshi Yatra from Bhrigu temple was led by Balak Baba and other Mahatmas. The procession reached Maldepur turning from Baba Baleshwar Temple, Cinema Road, Chowk, Station Road, Chittupandeya Square, Baheri, Chandrashekhar Nagar via Jalalpur. On the way, devotees welcomed the journey from place to place.
