Himachal will get semi high speed train tomorrow: Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav takes stock of preparations at Una railway station

From Una and Amb-Andaura in Himachal Pradesh, it will become easier for rail passengers to travel to Delhi. From October 14, Vande Bharat Express will start running regularly from Amb-Andaura to New Delhi. This is the country’s fourth semi-high speed train, which will run between Amb-Andaura to Delhi. This train will run 6 days a week except Thursday. On October 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off from Una railway station. The rake of Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi will reach Nangal Dam railway station by this evening. Which will come to Una only after Jan Shatabdi train leaves for Delhi on Thursday.

At the same time, preparations are being finalized at Una Railway Station for the Inaugural Run of Vande Bharat. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav reached Una railway station at 9 pm. During this, he took stock of the preparations at the station. DRM Mandeep Singh Bhatia of Ambala Railway Division and outgoing DRM GM Singh also stayed. Meanwhile, the minister gave necessary instructions to the railway officials.

The Union Railway Minister stayed at Una station for 15 minutes. After this, left for Nangal back in the special train. Prior to this, DRM Mandeep Singh Bhatia has inspected the preparations at the station. Top officials of Northern Railway are also reaching Una. The security squad of RPF has also reached the station.

2447 Vande Bharat Express will come from New Delhi to Amb Andaura. It will cover a distance of about 412 kms in 5 hours 15 minutes. It will have two-minute halts between New Delhi and Amb-Andaura at Ambala, Chandigarh and Una. Whereas 2448 Vande Bharat will run from Amb-Andaira to Delhi. Which will cover a distance of about 412 kilometers in 5 hours 25 minutes. Amb-Andaura to New Delhi will have 2 minute halts at Una, Chandigarh and Ambala. While there will be an operational halt for watering of 10 minutes at Nangal Dam railway station.

Features of this train

Vande Bharat is the first semi high speed train in the country. Its Rake Integral Coach Factory (ICF) has been prepared in Chennai. This train of about 18 coaches is equipped with modern facilities. It has a Photo Kautilik Ultra Air Purifier System. Which has been prepared in the laboratory of GRDO located in Chandigarh. It has reclining seats. There are also automatic fire sensors installed. From the point of view of security, CCTVs are installed in Vande Bharat and it will also have WIFI facility.

Himachal BJP in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna and State Finance Commission Chairman Satpal Satti reached the station and took stock of the preparations.

4th train to Delhi

This will be the fourth train from Una to Delhi. Prior to this Janshatabdi Express from Una runs daily in the morning for New Delhi. Himachal Express leaves for Delhi from Daulatpur Chowk in the evening. Whereas Nanded Weekly Superfast Express runs every Thursday from Amb Andaura to Nanded Sahib via Delhi. On the other hand, Ambala Railway Division’s PRI Pankaj Goyal said that on October 13, Vande Bharat Express will have an internal run. It will be flagged off by PM Narendra Modi. Said that from October 14, Vande Bharat will start running regularly from Amb-Andaura. All the preparations have been completed for this.

On the other hand, Rural Development Minister Virendra Kanwar and State Finance Commission Chairman Satpal Satti said that this is a great gift of the Prime Minister for Una district. Vande Bharat will run for six days in a week. He said that already 9 trains are running from Amb Andaura to different parts of the country.

Now Vande Bharat Express will be the 10th train. Both the leaders said that the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the Una-Hamirpur railway line. He said that the dream of Una-Hamirpur railway line is going to come true with the efforts of Union Minister Anurag Thakur. Four stations will be built on this railway line. Said that 90 percent of the cost of railway line construction would be borne by the Center and 10 percent by the state government.
