The team of Counter Intelligence from Amritsar, Punjab has arrested an accused with heroin worth Rs 28 crore. The accused was returning from the border area with a consignment of heroin. After the information, the CIA team succeeded in catching the accused. The arrested accused has been identified as Shamsher Singh Shera of Miadian village of Ajnala.
CIA Inspector Inderdeep Singh had received information about the consignment from Pakistan in the morning itself. After which the team blocked the bus stand of Ramdas village in Ajnala. The accused reached Ramdas bus stand in his Bolero car. The police succeeded in encircling the car. During the search, 4 kg of heroin was seized from the accused. Whose value in the international market is being estimated at Rs 28 crore.

In the investigation, Shamsher has given many important information to the police. The accused had already got the consignment of heroin from Pakistan several times. He had links with smugglers sitting in Pakistan. He was coordinating with them and getting the consignment through drone. Even on Thursday, the accused was returning with the consignment from the border itself.
