Farmers will get fertilizers at cheap rates
PM Narendra Modi He dedicated them to the nation by laying the foundation stone of several projects worth more than 9,500 crores in Ramagundam. He said that more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore would be spent this year to make available fertilizers from the Center to the farmers at affordable rates. There are many such schemes including the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi of the Centre, which have been started to improve the economic condition of the farmers. The PM said that the Center has spent about Rs 10 lakh crore during the last 8 years so that the farmers of the country are not burdened by the high global prices of fertilizers.

Sent an amount of 2 lakh crores
PM Modi said that his government has sent an amount of more than two lakh crore rupees to the bank accounts of farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Let us tell you that till now 12 installments of PM Kisan have been transferred to the accounts of the farmers. The 13th installment is to be credited to the accounts of the beneficiaries between December and March.

14 crore farmers got benefit
There are more than 14 crore farmers in the country, but only about 10 crore farmers are getting the benefit of PM Kisan Nidhi. PM Modi said that five big fertilizer plants, which were closed for years in the country, are being restarted to achieve self-sufficiency in the field of urea.
