Goddess idols immersed in Siddharthanagar: Four police station forces deployed in security arrangements, devotees arrived with music

Devotees arrived with idols of Mata Durga with music.

The idols of Maa Durga, established on the Ashtami of Navratri in Siddharthnagar, were immersed with pomp on Monday, the second day of Sharad Purnima. During this, the police force of four police stations remained ready in view of the security.

The idols of villages like Bayara, Chakchai, Rangrejpur, Miyatadi Dih, Bhanpur Rani etc. of Bhawaniganj police station area came out for immersion in the afternoon. During this, the devotees blew abir-gulal and chanted the praises of the mother.

In the security arrangements, forces of Dumariaganj, Bhawaniganj, Pathra, and Trilokpur police stations were deployed. SDM Kunal, CO Rana Mahendra Pratap and Kotwal Sanjay Mishra were engaged in taking stock of the system. A fair was held on the routes of the immersion procession.

Where the idols of Bayara village of police station area were immersed in Sutihwa Tal and idols of villages like Rangrejpur, Chakchai, Miyatadi Dih, Bhanpur Rani etc. were immersed in the nearby pond.
