Woman on tank.
A young woman climbed the top of a water tank late in the evening in Sherpur area of Ludhiana district of Punjab. The girl also warned the police of committing suicide by jumping from the tank. The girl accused the police that she and her family members have been falsely implicated in a case.
The woman on the tank was talking to the journalists on video call.
She alleged that she would end her life by jumping off the tank if the police did not quash the case registered against her. The girl alleged that some of the accused wanted to capture their shops with the help of local miscreants. He also demanded police action against the accused.
On receiving the information, Moti Nagar police reached the spot and talked to his family members sitting near the water tank. SHO Inspector Sanjeev Kapoor of Moti Nagar police station tried to convince the woman and her parents. He also assured action against the accused.

The girl, Lovepreet Kaur, told that she lives with her parents at Gurdwara Sahib in Transport Nagar and takes care of the Gurudwara. He has at least 10 shops which were given on rent.
He alleged that the tenants wanted to grab the shop after which the matter is going on in the court. About two months ago, he was beaten up by the accused after entering the Gurudwara Sahib. He complained several times against the accused, but to no avail.
The SHO said that he has asked the woman to come down from the tank. Police will take appropriate action after investigating the matter. In this case, till late night, the girl was climbing on the tank itself. The girl interacted with journalists through video call and told that she is studying law. The police is not listening to him, due to which he had to climb the tank today.
