In the Gwalior gang rape case, the absconding five thousand rupees reward accused has been caught by the Crime Branch and University Police Station from Inderganj area on the information of the informer. So far four accused have been arrested in this case, but one is still absconding. Police and Crime Branch are engaged in interrogation by taking the arrested accused into custody.
TI Crime Damodar Gupta and Vishwavidyalaya police station in-charge Manish Dhakad said that information was received that a reward accused of five thousand rupees absconding in the gangrape case has been seen in Inderganj area. As soon as the information was received, a team of police and crime branch was formed in which SI Suruchi Shivhare, ASI Rajiv Solanki, Principal constable Rambabu Singh, Satendra Singh, Gaurav Arya, Ashish Sharma and Arun Pawaiya were deployed to nab the accused. On seeing the police and crime branch, a young man started running and chased him and caught him. When the police and crime branch interrogated him, he has given his name as Jitendra Sahu resident Dabra. When the police took him into custody and interrogated him, it was found that there was a reward of five thousand rupees on him. On coming to know about this, the police took him to the police station and started interrogation.

The arrested accused and his accomplices, with the help of their female friend, carried out the gang rape incident in the hotel. The girl who had committed the gang rape had come to Gwalior in search of a job. Police has so far arrested four accused Lokesh Sahu, Seema alias Geeta, Muskan and Jitendra in this case, while the fifth accused Prince alias CB Sardar is absconding and the police and crime branch team is on the lookout for him.
