Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has posted two letters on social media after Rahul Gandhi’s statement that Veer Savarkar was a servant of the British. It is claimed that these letters were sent by Mahatma Gandhi to British officers Lord Chelmsford and Duke of Connaught. It is written in the last line of one of these – Your Excellency Obedient Servant MK Gandhi. It is written at the end of the second letter – Your Royal Highness Faithful Servant MK Gandhi.
